Fire Commissioner Stan Carton

Stan moved to Grapeview to live full-time in 1969 with his wife and two daughters. He was hired as secretary to the Fire Commissioners in 1988. After 3 years in that position he was appointed to fill an unexpired term of a commissioner who left the district and has filled Position #2 since that time; currently serving as Chairman.

Fire Commissioner Jim Stark

Jim is very familiar with Grapeview. He has been coming here since 1969. The fire department burned down his cabin in a training exercise in 2000. He as since had a retirement home built on the lot and has lived there ever since. Jim was elected as Fire Commissioner in November 2003.
